Here, I answer the most common questions that people ask me regarding the books.

What is the book about?

"SD-WAN: Example-based Study Guide" is a two-volume series that provides a comprehensive understanding of the Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN solution. Each volume features over 300 diagrams and over 20 lab examples to help readers learn how to configure and deploy software-defined WAN. Written in a clear and accessible style, the book is ideal for both beginners and experienced networking professionals.

The diagrams throughout the book illustrate key concepts and configurations, making it easy for readers to visualize and understand the complex topics.

How can I purchase the book?

Both volumes are distributed exclusively by Amazon. There is no other official way of purchasing the books.

What is the difference between the books and your online course?

Volume 1 has 50% of the information available in the online course and 50% new content.

Volume 2 has 20% of the information available in the online course and 80% new content.

Is there an ebook version of the books?

No. There is no electronic version of any of the books as of yet. 

Since the books are distributed by Amazon, PDF is not allowed. Amazon only allows the Kindle ebook formats. However, since the books feature 300+ high-definition diagrams and many CLI outputs, they do not look good on Kindle, so I've decided not to do an ebook version for now.

I am planning to do a web version of both books. Since I have all the diagrams in vector graphics, they will show flawlessly on 4k/8k displays.

How can I get any of the books in India?

Many people approached me and asked how they could get a copy of the book in India since the shipping cost from the USA is very high. 

The reality is that I don't know of any other way than Amazon. The books are printed on-demand by Amazon at the time of purchase. There are no physical copies that I can send at a lower shipping cost. Let me know if somebody knows of any more affordable way to ship from the USA to India so I can share it with everybody.

Where can I find the EVE-NG files?

While creating the books, I used many EVE-NG files and topologies over a period of 24 months. No single file can be used to go through every lab example in the book. 

However, I made an initial EVE-NG topology file for both books that you can find on each book's page.

Can you send me the Cisco SD-WAN controller files?

No, I can't distribute any of the Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN files. They are owned and distributed by Cisco only. You must contact your local Cisco representative and ask them about it.
